Support To The Girl Child

The foundation collaborated with local schools to improve the hygienic conditions for the girl child, so many young girls because of their economic background lost significant number of school days and in some instances dropped out of school due to lack of proper sanitary care during their menstrual cycle, also those who could afford it, the quality of sanitary pad was poor, to respond to this challenges. The foundation collaborated with the Presbyterian Girl’s Secondary School in Limbe to:

1. Provide sanitary pads to young girls and specifically to:

• Educated students on menstrual hygiene and its importance.
• Educate them on the qualities of good menstrual pads.
• Educate the students on the disadvantages of poor menstrual hygiene.

2. Educate students on good hygienic practices against covid-19 and specifically to;

• Educate the student practical demonstration of first aid techniques.
• Sensitize the students on methods to prevent corona virus infection.
• Practical demonstration of how to wash hands properly.
